Instructions

  1. The scorecard automatically chooses the date for the last round that you should have played prior to the current date.  You should select a different date from the "Date" drop-down list if the date that was chosen by the Scorecard is not correct (which will happen if you are more than a week "tardy" in submitting).

  2. Choose your team and the opposing team that played your Round using the "Team 1" and "Team 2" drop-down lists.  The "Player Names" fields will automatically fill in with those team's players names.

  3. If an official league Substitute played for a team's regular player, select the Substitute's name using the "Player Names" drop-down.  If the Substitute player was unofficial, choose "Other: No Name" and a dialog box will pop up that will allow you to enter that player's name on the Scorecard.

  4. Enter the total for each player for each Hole played, just like you would on a paper score card.  If you counted Putts, you should enter them, too!  The player's score total updates as each new Hole is entered.  To correct an error, just double click and retype the entry.

  5. If a player didn't play or didn't finish a Hole, use "0" for their score.  If the opposing team failed to show up at all, leave all the player's scores as-is (all "0").  But be sure you still select the Team you played!

  6. The rounds alternate between the Front and Back 9 each week.  The scorecard automatically sets the Front/Back buttons to the side of the Course that you were supposed to have played.  If for some reason you went off on the other side, be sure to select the correct button before submitting your scores.

  7. The "Submit Score" button will cause this scorecard to email your score submission to the League score keeper.  Many Internet Browsers post a warning when the "Submit Score" button is pressed, in order to protect the user (you) from malicious Java scripts.  You must "OK" the warning and allow the email to be sent or your scores will NOT be submitted!

  8. If you need to revise an already-submitted scorecard, reenter the entire card with your revisions and Check the "Submit Revised" Checkbox before clicking "Submit Score".

  9. If you need to send any special message or instructions to the Scorekeeper, you may do so by entering them in the "Comments"
